Police Officer Involved in Fatal Accident

A fatal car accident involving a police officer occurred in Cullman County, Alabama, Monday evening, according to the My Fox Birmingham website.  According to investigators, the Hanceville police officer's patrol car and another vehicle collided on Highway 91 near Edmondson Road shortly before 7:00 p.m., resulting from the death of a passenger from the second car.  No information was available regarding the driver's condition or the police officer's condition at the time of the report.
