Senate Bill 162 Passed in Georgia which targets Illegal Immigrants Drinking and Driving

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the state Senate approved Senate Bill 162 on Thursday stating that illegal immigrants convicted of drunk driving in Georgia would face a felony charge for a first time offense. The fines could range between $1,000 and $5,000 and imprisonment for one to five years. Other first time offenders could face misdemeanor charges under the current state law.
