Serious Accident Near I-20 Sends Multiple Passengers to Hospital

A two-car collision on Highway 271 near I-20 in Texas Saturday (August 23) sent four people to the hospital and shut down two lanes of traffic. According to www.ketknbc.com, the accident occurred around 10:30pm on Highway 271 between I-20 and U.T. Tyler. The site reported that one car pulled out in front of the other vehicle, causing the accident. Of the seven total passengers in the two vehicles, four of them were sent to the hospital with injuries. According to the website, all riders were wearing seat belts at the time of the I-20 crash.
