Serious I-85 Accident in Atlanta Results in Multiple Injuries

Travelers on I-85 northbound experienced extreme delays in Gwinnett County Friday night (August 29) after a six-vehicle Atlanta accident resulted in multiple injuries. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution online, the crash occurred around 6:30pm between Pleasant Hill Road and Highway 316. One adult and one child (of separate vehicles) were in critical condition after being airlifted for treatment, and three others were taken to hospitals with injuries. Another was released after being treated at the accident scene. No deaths resulted from the I-85 crash.
