In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 27, 2010 seven people were traveling in a Ford quad-cab pick up truck when it went over the guardrail on Interstate 75. Four people were immediately accounted for; the deceased, Shannon Hendricks and three friends. However; the owner of the vehicle and his two brothers were not located until some time later. The family of Hendricks is anxiously awaiting details from the accident.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones no one was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. At this time it is not know if the owner of the vehicle, Henry Williams Jr., was the driver or not. Williams and his brothers Robert and Saul of Monroe County have retained an attorney, Holley Hogue.
