Several Injuries from Church Bus Accident in Atlanta, Georgia

On Sunday, February 28, 2010, a church bus was involved in an accident with a pick up truck, according to the police officers on the scene. The church bus was from Northside United Methodist Church. The accident occurred at the corner of Northside Drive and West Wesley. After the bus crashed into the pickup truck it, then slammed into a utility pole and the pick up truck hit two other vehicles.

According to a news reporter, who spoke to the driver of the pickup truck states the bus driver failed to stop at a flashing red light.

Emergency personnel transported the driver of the bus and pickup truck to the hospital including some teenagers from the bus that sustained injuries from the crash.
