Single-Car Accident in Coweta County, Georgia | Atlanta Accident Lawyer

Monday evening on October 26, 2009, a single-vehicle accident occurred in Coweta County, Georgia. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the car accident happened near Buddy West Road’s intersection with Roscoe Road. Tabatha Hausenfluck, thirty four years of age, was traveling westbound when an off-duty ambulance driver was traveling eastbound going towards a curve and saw Ms. Hausenfluck’s vehicle in his lane. Ms. Hausenfluck overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle to try to avoid a head-on collision. Her vehicle went sideways over a concrete driveway and hit a telephone pole on the driver’s side. The impact of the auto accident caused the vehicle to spin around and hit a pine tree. Ms. Hausenfluck was lifeflighted to Grady Memorial Hospital for head injuries sustained in the accident.

The Georgia State Patrol’s investigation concluded that Ms. Hausenfluck was not wearing her seat belt and may have been driving under the influence of prescription medicine at the time of the accident. Ms. Hausenfluck has charges pending against her for failure to maintain lane, no seat belt and driving under the influence of prescription medicine.
