  • The initial phone call made me feel as though they really cared. They made us feel like a number, and Murphy & Associates didn't. My wife and I have never gone through something like this before and accidents can be devastating to a family because of loss of income, pain and suffering.
  • Murphy & Associates made my experience fast and easy, and got the job done.
  • Murphy & Associates Car Accident Law firm is professional, efficient, and a pleasant experience doing business with.
  • I was involved in a rear-end collision while stopped at a red light. Mr. Murphy and his staff guided me through this long process from obtaining medical treatment to settling with the other party's insurance company.

Six Flags Over Georgia Trip Turns Fatal for High School Student

June 30, 2008 - On a summer trip to the Atlanta area with his church and family from South Carolina, 17-year-old rising high school senior vwas killed by a ride at Six Flags Over Georgia. According to reports, the teenager and his cousin left the theme park to get lunch and attempted a shortcut to re-enter the park near "Batman the Ride" rather than at an authorized entrance. They scaled two 6-foot fences that had signs on and around them reading, "restricted area," "authorized personnel only," "danger zone," and "do not enter." Several witnesses made phone calls to 911 when the Batman ride struck the young student and decapitated him. According to the medical examiner, the young man died instantly.

The exact reason the two young men were attempting to gain unauthorized access is still unknown. According to the family’s minister, the victim’s family plans to hire a private detective. In response to whether a lawsuit will follow, the minister said that he and the victim’s family want to "know the facts."
