Six Occupants in Vehicle that Flipped Several Times on Interstate 20 | Atlanta Attorney

Yesterday afternoon, six people were involved in a single-vehicle accident that resulted in all eastbound lanes closed on I-20. According to the Cobb County Police Department, a 2003 Ford Explorer was traveling on I-20 between Factory Shoals Road and Riverside Parkway in Austell, Georgia when the vehicles’ tire blew out. The Ford Explorer flipped several times causing three of the six occupants in the vehicle to be ejected.

According to the Cobb County Police Department, a female resident of Forest Park, Georgia, passed away at the scene of the accident. Another woman also a resident of Forest Park, was transported to Atlanta Medical Center and passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. The four other victims were transported to either Atlanta Medical Center or Grady Memorial Hospital.
