South Georgia Tech Basketball Player Suffers Concussion After Americus Car Accident

Four basketball players from South Georgia Tech in Americus, Georgia, including star player Daley Strafford, who played for Calhoun County High School before joining the Jets, were involved in a late Monday evening car accident, according to Scott Chancey of the Albany Herald online.  Jae Crowder, Paul Mitchell, Antonio Bell, and Strafford were all involved in the crash, with Strafford suffering a third-degree concussion that could keep him off the court for 30 days.  According to Jets coach Steven Wright, the accident was not the players' fault:  they were headed to get food when they were cut off by another vehicle.  For Daley Strafford and his South Georgia Technical College teammates, however, the fact that he will be "okay" is the number one reason they're thankful.
