Sub-Contractor Killed At Forsyth Water Plant | Fatal Work Accident | Atlanta Workers’ Compensation Attorney

According to the Forsyth County Fire Department, a fatal work accident occurred at the water plant on Thursday afternoon. The fatality was not a Forsyth County employee but rather a sub-contractor who was working at the Antioch Road construction site on the water plant expansion. Reports made by the Forsyth County Fire Department note the gentleman was trapped under a piece of machinery similar to a forklift and although rescue workers were able to quickly respond and remove the machinery the middle aged man did not survive his injuries.

The Forsyth Sheriff’s Office and OSHA are investigating this fatal accident.
