Last week at Myrtle Beach, a woman face charges for snatching a woman’s purses and hitting three people with her vehicle in pursuit of trying to getaway with the purse. According to the Myrtle Beach Police Department, the woman is charged with one count of purse snatching, three counts of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and three counts if assault and battery with intent to kill. The female driver's bond is set at $25,000.00 with the purse snatching, $100,000.00 for each of the leaving the scene accident charges and the bond was denied on the three assault charges.

A seventy three year old woman, was the victim in the purse snatching incident. The three people who were injured, tried to stop the woman and one victim was seriously injured.  The injured victim is still under medical treatment in the hospital from injuries sustained in the hit and run accident. According to the victim's mother, she is not responding to stimuli on her lower part of her body and may be paralyzed from the waist down. The medical personnel at the hospital were supposed to perform spine surgery on her this week.
