Teen Killed in Boat Crash on Lake Lanier

Lake Lanier is usually a site for recreation and fishing. Sadly though, on Saturday evening, Lake Lanier was the site where a teen boy died in a boating accident.

Two boats that were carrying 15 people collided into one another. The teen buy died and went overboard, and two others were seriously injured. The teen's body was recovered from the lake on Sunday morning.

The Department of Natural Resources is investigating the incident, and charges may be filed.
