A Birmingham car accident that claimed the life of 17-year-old Dale Holland (called "Dutch" by friends) is still being investigated by police, according to Andy Richards of the Birmingham Mail website. The article reports that the Birmingham area teenager died Sunday evening, December 14, when his vehicle veered off of Coleshill Road and struck a tree after 11:00 p.m., and his parents released a statement yesterday that another 17-year-old (from a different vehicle) who was believed to be in connection with the crash was arrested by police, but has been bailed while the investigation continues. Mark and Stephanie Holland, the parents of well-loved Dale Holland, spoke about their son yesterday, describing his "cheeky" grin and many friendships with others who will greatly miss him. As of December 18, a 17-year-old passenger from Holland's car at the time of the accident was still in critical condition with multiple injuries in Heartlands Hospital.
