Thomas Reed Killed in Fiery Atlanta Wreck on I-75 Ramp to I-285

We recently posted a blog about Tuesday morning’s (August 26) fatal wreck on the I-75 ramp to I-285 in Atlanta. The www.al.com website has released details of the fiery accident and the name of one of the deceased, former B.C. Rain High School student and basketball star Thomas Reed. According to the site, the driver of a 2003 Ford pickup lost control of the vehicle on the curved ramp in Atlanta, hitting the guard rail and causing the truck to flip over, collide with a parked tractor-trailer, and burst into flames. Reed and another man inside the pickup truck were severely burned and killed as a result of the crash. According to www.11alive.com, police stated that the driver of the tractor-trailer, who was sleeping at the time of the accident, was cited for "improper parking on the interstate."
