Three Car Accident in Powder Springs on Dallas Highway

Location: Powder Springs, Georgia
Event: Fatal Three Car Accident

According to the Cobb County Police Department, a nineteen-year-old Powder Springs resident, was not injured when the vehicle that he was driving was involved in a fatal three car accident on Dallas Highway. A forty-five-year-old passenger in another vehicle, was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where she passed away from the injuries sustained in the accident.

A sixteen-year-old driver was traveling eastbound on Dallas Highway and attempted to turn left onto northbound Old Hamilton Road when a truck in the same direction was turning left onto southbound Casteel Road from westbound Dallas Highway. Another vehicle was also traveling westbound and ended up hitting the back of the sixteen year old's vehicle.

The Cobb County Police Department is investigating this accident. Charges are expected against the teenager.
