Three Charter Buses Involved In Morning Accident | Atlanta Accident Attorney

On the morning of February 19, 2010, three buses that were chartered for a school field trip collided. The accident happened on Interstate 85 while transporting Beck Academy sixth graders on a field trip. Oby Lyles the school district spokesman stated the accident was the result of the first bus breaking down and the other two rear-ending it. Parents were immediately contacted by administrators and were also able to speak to their children by cell phone. Three buses were sent to the cite as replacement and the field trip continued. Twelve students received minor injuries and one parent on the field trip was also injured but not seriously.
