In Jonesboro, Georgia, an unidentified female pedestrian was killed at about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening on September 22, 2009. According to the Clayton County Police, the pedestrian was walking across Tara Boulevard when she was struck by a car in the outside lane. The driver of the car, whose name is not being released at this time is being tested for drug and alcohol use.
