Townhome Explosion in Douglasville Georgia

On Thursday, a maintenance man was seriously burned while on the job when a townhome in Douglasville exploded and caught fire. There aren't any firm answers as to why the townhome exploded, but the Atlanta Gas Light company is investigating. Some neighbors in Laura's Manor said that there had been a natural gas smell since 9:00 a.m., 6 hours prior to the explosion.

The man injured in the explosion was sent to Grady Hospital in serious condition.
