Tractor Trailer Accident with One Fatality on I-285 | Villa Rica Car Accident Attorney

According to the Clayton County Police Department, a 76-year old woman passed away when she drove into the back of a tractor trailer truck parked on I-285. The woman was traveling westbound on Interstate 285 at the time of the accident. The tractor trailer truck had been involved in an accident beforehand with another large truck and the two trucks were pulled over. One truck pulled into the median, the another truck stopped in the right hand lane of traffic. The woman then drove underneath the tractor trailer truck at a high rate of speed. The tractor trailer driver turned on his emergency lights before the accident occurred.

The Clayton County Police Department is investigating this accident and charges may be filed after the investigation is complete.
