On Tuesday, January 5, 2009 a pedestrian was struck and killed on interstate 285. Georgia Department of Transportation reported four lanes were blocked on I-20 near Fulton Industrial Boulevard leading to a traffic backup. Lanes were opened around 8:30 pm. Information on the victim has not been made available at this time.
