Traffic Shift on Interstate 85 | Metro Atlanta Car Accident Attorney

On June 28, 2009, the Georgia Department of Transportation began a southbound traffic shift on Interstate 85. The traffic shift is beginning south of Exit 56 on Collinsworth Road and extending to Exit 51 on SR 154/McCollum Sharpsburg Road. The date and time may have changed based on weather conditions. Previously near Exit 56 on I-85 southbound was three lanes of traffic and now will be reduced to two lanes of travel lanes and will be shifted to the newly constructed lanes and will extend southbound to Exit 51. Also, the refuge areas for car accidents will be spaced at one mile intervals throughout the traffic shift.

As a metro Atlanta car accident lawyer, James Murphy has represented many innocent victims of car accidents that occurred on I-85.  If you have been injured on an Atlanta interstate or another metro Atlanta roadway, feel free to contact James Murphy with any questions you may have, and he will answer them for free.  Murphy & Associates:  770.577.3020.
