Tragic Tractor Trailer Accident on I-20
Shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009 a fiery crash claimed the life of one man from Augusta and slightly injured another also from Augusta. Mr. Gerry Streetman, 51 years old was the operator of a tractor trailer traveling on I-20. Apparently the tractor trailer rear ended Mr. James Ramsey who was operating a taxi van. Upon contact both vehicles left the road where the tractor trailer ran into trees and burst into flames. It is said to be believed that Mr. Gerry Streetman died of blunt force trauma. Mr. James Ramsey was transported with minor injuries to Medical College of Ga Hospital.Murphy & Associates handles fatal car accident and wrongful death cases in surrounding areas of Georgia, and we express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims of this accident.
