Train Crashes into Vehicle in Houston County's Warner Robbins
At least one person sustained injuries in an accident involving a train and another vehicle last night, December 2, in Houston County's Warner Robbins. According to Liz Fabian of the Macon news website, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the railroad crossing at Ignico Drive along Georgia 247, and the train was unable to stop in time to avoid colliding with the other vehicle. The injured was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, and the Houston County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the Warner Robbins area accident. According to Fabian, several train accidents have occurred at the same crossing over recent years.
