A 92 year-old man sadly died on Friday at Tanner Medical Center, two days after hitting a tractor-trailer that was backing up into the Carrollton bypass. The tractor-trailer driver was backing up because he noticed a "No Trucks" sign, and when he did, the man in the Ford Ranger struck the tractor-trailer, crushing the front of the pickup and concaving the cab area.

The tractor-trailer driver may be facing charges due to the accident.
