Two Fatalities & Six Injured in Gwinnett County Auto Accident

On Saturday, June 20, 2009 an SUV carrying eight passengers swerved, hitting another vehicle in the adjacent lane. Of the eight traveling in the SUV two were fatalities and the remaining six were hospitalized. The two fatalities were a fifteen year old, Jaview Mejia and a sixty nine year old, Graciela Cillamizar, both of Kennesaw. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The car accident happened around 1:00 p.m. on I-85 just south of Jimmy Carter Blvd and police do not believe alcohol played a role in this accident.
