We recently posted a blog about a pedestrian accident that injured a freshman at Georgia College and State University. Thursday morning, February 5, the university was home to another vehicle-pedestrian accident, according to Gabe Dalusky of the WMGT website. Two employees from the Georgia State College & University (GCSU) communications department, Zach Kincaid and Judy Bailey, sustained injuries after they were struck by a car on the GCSU campus, and Kincaid was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment. According to the site, Kincaid suffered a broken collar bone and had to undergo surgery Friday. Since other pedestrian accidents have occurred in the past at the same intersection, university officials are planning to raise awareness about these types of accidents and take other measures to prevent similar collisions from taking place in the future. Thursday morning's incident is still being investigated, and it has not been confirmed whether the driver will face charges.
