Two Injured, One Killed in Enterprise, Alabama Car Accident

A two-car accident Tuesday morning, December 16, injured two and killed one on Highway 84 East in Enterprise, Alabama, according to the Dothan Eagle website.  According to police, a red Mitsubishi, driven by a 75-year-old man, crossed the median of the highway while traveling west and collided with a blue Pontiac in the eastbound lane around 10:45 a.m.  Upon impact, the Mitsubishi landed in swampy ground near the roadway, and the Torrent came to rest on its side after flipping.  Both occupants of the Torrent, a 66-year-old Newton resident and an unknown occupant, sustained injuries in the accident, with one them being airlifted to a hospital in Dothan and the other taken to Medical Center Enterprise. One died at the scene.
