On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Buddy West Road in Newnan, Georgia. According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Toyota Sequoia and a Chevrolet Aveo were involved. The driver of the Aveo swerved to avoid something in the roadway and veered into the oncoming lane of traffic. The driver of the Toyota Sequoia attempted to avoid the Aveo but was struck in the front of the vehicle.
The Coweta County Fire Department had to extricate the driver from the Sequoia who was then transported to Atlanta Medical Center. The other driver did not receive any injuries as a result of the auto accident but her four-month old son suffered injuries and was transported to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston.
