UGA Grad. Miley Duvall in Route to New York When Killed in I-85 Accident

Online Athens posted today that UGA Graduate Miley Duvall, who just turned 23, was in route to New York City to celebrate having received her undergraduate degree when the fatal I-85 crash occurred. Just hours after graduating from the University of Georgia, Duvall was killed in a one-car wreck. According to the article, she received her degree in Biology and was planning to attend medical school. Friends and family gathered at a 2:00pm memorial service today to celebrate her life and mourn her tragic death. The article reports that the accident occurred around 5:20pm Saturday, August 2 when Duvall lost control of her vehicle while heading north on I-85, causing it to run off the road and flip. Another UGA student, who hails from Douglasville, was a passenger in Duvall's vehicle and sustained injuries in the crash.
