Update on a Pedestrian Accident in Dekalb County, Georgia

On Wednesday, January 20, 2010, three teenagers were involved in a pedestrian accident, according to the Dekalb County Police Department. One of the teenagers received fatal injuries and the other was injured as a result of the accident. The Dekalb County Police Department arrested Shaheed Saunders and a second driver, Tomcum Siripanyha, both were 17 years of age, for racing which caused the accident. Both were charged with vehicular homicide, reckless driving and racing on streets or highways.

There was a hearing yesterday on the case, and a judge set a $21,000.00 bond for Mr. Saunders and a $20,000.00 bond for Mr. Siripanyha.
