The victim of a fatal DUI accident was a 20 year old student who attended the University of West Georgia. Just before West Georgia's homecoming day football game, the student was driving his motorcycle, and was hit by another car at the entrance to the football stadium.

The driver at fault was a 23 year old teacher from Allenhurst, who was driving under the influence, and failed to yield while turning left. She is now at Carroll County jail, charged with first-degree vehicular homicide.

This tragic DUI accident is a reminder that drinking and driving has devastating consequences.
