Police in Macon, Georgia, are investigating a car-pedestrian accident that killed Macon resident Carolyn Rhodes Thursday evening, April 2, according to Liz Fabian of the Macon.com website. According to the site, a 2008 Lincoln MKZ struck 49-year-old Rhodes around 10:45 p.m. on Mercer University Drive. After allegedly "stepping into the path" of the vehicle, Rhodes was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia where she was later pronounced dead. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Carolyn Rhodes at this difficult time.
