A 35 year old soldier from Villa Rica was recently killed by a hit-and-run driver in Texas this past Friday. This soldier was close to leaving for his fourth tour in Afghanistan. Investigators reported that a woman was driving and reported seeing the victim who had already been struck and killed. This soldier is originally from Alabama but lived in Villa Rica, Georgia for two years.
