  • I don’t have any medical bills, I’m receiving revenue for my pain and suffering, and I’m very appreciative. I am truly satisfied with the results of my case.
  • "The best part about having James Murphy as my workers' compensationlawyer is that I have someone to speak for me..."
  • The initial phone call made me feel as though they really cared. They made us feel like a number, and Murphy & Associates didn't. My wife and I have never gone through something like this before and accidents can be devastating to a family because of loss of income, pain and suffering.
  • Murphy & Associates made my experience fast and easy, and got the job done.
  • Murphy & Associates Car Accident Law firm is professional, efficient, and a pleasant experience doing business with.
  • I was involved in a rear-end collision while stopped at a red light. Mr. Murphy and his staff guided me through this long process from obtaining medical treatment to settling with the other party's insurance company.

War Veteran Airlifted to Atlanta Hospital After Alcohol-Related Accident Near Monticello

July 10, 2008 - Reckless driving is an understatement when describing the actions of Madison, Georgia’s, Robert Allan Sharp the evening of July 6.  After injuring several people (including children) in a wreck on Highway 16 near Monticello, Sharp was charged with DUI (drugs), failure to maintain lane, no tag on trailer, three counts of endangering a child under 14 while intoxicated, reckless driving, and one count of serious injury by vehicle.  In his 2007 Chevrolet Colorado with a near-20-foot boat in tow, Sharp swerved all over Highway 16 and slammed head-on– driver’s side to driver’s side– into a 2006 Toyota Corolla.  The driver of the Toyota, Monticello’s Timothy Robison, waited for more than an hour while emergency officials attempted to remove him from his vehicle.  He and his brother, Thomas Robison, were both seriously injured in the accident and were airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.  Ironically, commented a friend of the family, Tim Robison had never been shot during three tours of duty in Iraq, yet he was seriously injured at home by a DUI driver.

Fellow passenger David Mock, though able to walk immediately after the crash, required medical attention later at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Sharp received treatment at the Jasper hospital, as well, from which he was transported to the Jasper County Jail.  Even though he had three children in his vehicle and one suffered a head injury, he was released Tuesday on a $5,850 bond.  According to some reports, the DUI driver was taking prescription pain relievers.
