A serious car accident Sunday morning took the life of a man from Dublin, Georgia, and severely injured his passenger, according to Stephanie Miller of The Courier-Herald online. According to Miller, a spokesman from the Georgia State Patrol's Dublin Post believes that 30-year-old Norman Lee Blackshear died from the fire caused by his car's collision with a tree. The crash allegedly occurred around 4:15 a.m. on state Route 26 just ten miles east of East Dublin. The passenger in the vehicle, Dublin resident Frankie Lee Wiggins, Jr., 26, sustained serious injuries in the crash. According to the site, Blackshear's vehicle hit the tree head-on, and Wiggins may have crawled out of the car, but further details were not available at the time of the report.
Our law firm handles fatal accident and serious accident cases throughout the state of Georgia, and we express our deepest sympathies to the family of Norman Blackshear and hope for the quick and full recovery of Frankie Wiggins.
