Wicksburg Crash Kills Coffee Springs Resident in Houston County, AL
A two-car accident in Wicksburg, Alabama, injured two and killed one on the morning of January 3, according to Rhiana Huckins of the WTVY News 4 website. Huckins reports that the crash occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. when Coffee Springs resident Tim Milton, 75, appeared to lose control of his pickup truck and collided with another truck. According to the report, Milton was pronounced dead on the scene, while Joe Frank Wilson, the 72-year-old driver of the other vehicle, sustained minor injuries along with his wife Elinda Wilson. The Wilsons were taken to Dothan's Flowers Hospital for treatment. State Troopers from the Alabama Highway Patrol are still investigating the Houston County accident, but they believe the crash may have been related to foggy weather conditions.
