According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, while driving on Interstate 75 in Cartersville, a woman and young girl were ejected from their vehicle after being sideswiped by another vehicle. The accident began when a Honda driver sideswiped a Ford Ranger and the Ranger overturned and the woman and young girl were ejected. The woman was in surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital and the young girl is receiving medical treatment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Several vehicles were attempting to avoid the accident on I-75, according to the Cartersville Police Captain, there were six vehicles involved.

The car crash is still being investigated by the Cartersville Police Department.
