Woman killed in Douglas County Ga Car Accident
A woman who investigators say was in her late sixties was killed on Friday, December 26th in Douglas County, Ga. According to the Georgia State Patrol the woman was killed on Annewakee Road, near Highway 92. The location is south of the Fairburn Road Exit off of I 20 in Douglasville.According to investigatiors a pick-up truck veered into the woman's lane and crashed into her vehicle.
Local police reported that alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the accident but the cause of the crash was still under investigation. The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital after he had suffered injuries. This according to a report from Leigha Baugham of My Fox Atlanta.
