Woman Struck in Crosswalk by Hit and Run Driver | Douglasville Pedestrian Accident Attorney

On Friday, March 19, 2010, a pedestrian hit and run accident occurred on Jonesboro Road in Forest Park, Georgia. According to the Forest Park Police Department, Carol Floyd, 60 years of age, was crossing Jonesboro Road in the pedestrian crosswalk when she was struck by an SUV. At the time of the accident, a Forest Park Police Officer was coming up on the intersection and caught the accident on the dash cam. According to the video of the pedestrian accident, it shows the SUV striking Ms. Floyd, sending her into the air and onto the pavement. Also, shown on the video was the driver of the SUV who stopped after striking Ms. Floyd apologized and then left the scene of the accident.

As of March 21, 2010, there is no new information on the hit and run driver.
