Wrong Way Accident Involving Resident of Alpharetta, Georgia

On Friday afternoon, December 11, 2009, a fatal auto accident occurred on Forest Landing Way in John’s Creek involving a wrong way driver. According to the Johns Creek Police Department, Raymond Myrand, sixty two years of age, resident of Alpharetta, Georgia, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on Forrest Landing way in his Chevrolet Suburban. Mr. Myrand was traveling in the wrong direction and had a head-on accident with a mother and her minor child in a Ford Expedition. The minor child was in the backseat of the vehicle at the time of the accident. 

Both the mother and son were airlifted to two different hospitals for severe injuries and were in critical condition. Mr. Raymond Myrand passed away at the scene of the accident from injuries sustained.

According to the witnesses on the scene of the accident, Mr. Raymond Myrand struck two other vehicles before crashing into the mother and her minor child in the Ford Expedition.
