Wrong Way Car Accident in Douglas County, Georgia

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Cobb County Police Captain was arrested by an officer of the Georgia State Patrol in Douglas County, Georgia. The officer was arrested after a car accident that occurred on Ga. Highway 92. A Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling north in the southbound lane and struck a Mercury Marquis, which the Cobb County Police Captain was driving. The driver of the Cavalier, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the auto accident. The driver faces charges in this accident.

The Cobb County Police Captain was arrested and taken to the Douglas County jail.

The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating this auto accident.
