Attorney James K. Murphy of Douglasville contacted my studio in January of 2009 for a mural for his office. Mr. Murphy sent me the dimensions and a picture of his wall that he would like to feature.
I soon gathered a great deal of information and the wheels were turning to create something spectacular! In April 2009, I was asked to demonstrate my talents in Italy for an event called Salon. This event is a gathering of International Artists who share techniques with other artists through painting, demonstrating and displaying their art. There are also a handful of interpreters to help with the sharing of ideas from country to country. I decided to demonstrate the window scene portion of this mural in Bergamo, Italy where the event was held. The window scene depicts of what life was like in New York City before the events of 9/11. The scene is a unique view of New York City as the twin towers were being built in 1970. Not everything is obvious! The scene is not the typical NYC skyline.
The book case is a typical background of what appears in many attorneys’ pictures and biographies. Throughout the mural you can find pieces of his life.
Please feel free to visit this mural at Murphy & Associates, LLC, located in Douglasville off of Hospital Drive.

Title: Speeders Beware
Today, Thursday, June 25, 2009 starts Georgia’s official speeding “crackdown”. Law Enforcement officials will be out in force watching for individuals who are following too closely, driving in an aggressive manner and speeding. As part of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety multiple law departments are participating in this “crackdown” because of the upcoming 4th of July weekend. Dekalb county is also enforcing the “move over” law.
