The goal of the organizers is to make it a state-wide competition in the next ten years.

Florida authorities are currently trying to determine the cause of a horrific pileup involving a family from Marietta, GA, that happened on I-75. Due to a mixture of heavy fog, and heavy smoke caused by a brush fire, portions of I-75 were shutdown for extreme lack of visibility. However, this did not prevent a multi-car pileup accident involving at least a dozen cars, six tractor-trailers, and wreckage that extended nearly a mile.

According to Law enforcement, it was stated that three members of the family from Marietta, GA died in this terrible multi-car accident, and a fourth member was sent to a Gainsville hospital in critical condition.

Title: Two-vehicle Crash Results in Fatality in Dallas, GA
Georgia State Patrol reported that early Wednesday morning, a 1999 a Dallas, Georgia resident in a GMC Sierra drifted over the centerline on Georgia 61 into oncoming traffic, and crashed into a man driving a 1995 Ford Explorer. The man from Dallas died from the accident, and the other driver was taken to WellStar Kennestone for his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

Atlanta Car Crash Injures Mother and Her 2 Children

May 26, 2011 - Atlanta, Ga - An Atlanta car crash involving a stolen vehicle struck a mother and her 2 children causing injuries to all 3 victims.

The mother and her 2 children, ages 7 and 9, were walking on the sidewalk of Lawton Street, close to Donnelly Avenue, when they were hit by the stolen vehicle at around 11:20 a.m.

The stolen vehicle, a maroon Dodge Intrepid, carried 4 young men who fled the scene after the crash. Police were able to catch the proclaimed driver of the stolen vehicle who's been put into the Fulton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The 9-year-old child, who was constrained in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy, was ejected down an embankment and the 7-year-old child suffered a broken arm. They both were taken to the Egleston Children's Hospital for medical attention.

The children's mother was injured on the arm but refused medical treatment. Truck Carrying Explosives Involved in an Atlanta Accident on I-285
