According to Atlanta police, a car wreck occurred on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Hightower Boulevard late Saturday night. The accident was a head-on collision. The driver of one vehicle, crossed the center line and crashed into another car. A female passenger died at the scene. Police state that alcohol was a factor in the tragic accident.

Drunk driving charges are still pending against the driver.
