Austell Woman Caused 2 Accidents While Driving Drunk

According to the Cobb County Police, a young woman who lives in Austell, GA was driving under the influence of alcohol on the night of December 27, 2011. While behind the wheel, she caused several car accidents in Austell, fleeing the scene each time.

With a young child in the backseat, the woman crashed into a Toyota at the intersections of Austell Rd and Clay Rd. The Toyota was forced into another car. Then, she backed up her car into a Buick behind her, and fled the scene. About two miles away, she backed into another car, and again fled the scene. Police report that her license number was reported to the Cobb Police, who arrived at her home to arrest her. The woman attacked the police trying to arrest her.

The Austell woman ended up being taken to the hospital in Cobb County to be treated for the injuries she sustained while struggling with the police. They finally arrested the woman in the hospital later that day.
