According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcyclist was injured from a side impact accident. The motorcycle was clipped by a car when the driver attempted to change lanes without a turn signal. The accident happened on Hwy 61 near the entrance for I-20. Police looked into the incident and cited the driver with failure to yield.

The rider of the motorcycle was hospitalized for injuries received from the accident.
