According to fire investigators, a house fire occurred on Friday night on North Avenue in Forest Park. Two women escaped safely, while their uncle died in the blaze. During the attempts to save the occupants of the home and to stop the fire, a firefighter was injured. The firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment.
