According to Cobb County police, a Hiram driver was killed and his passenger injured when their car went out of control, ran off the road, and into a tree. The accident occurred northbound on I-75 north of Hickory Grove Road. The passenger was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Cobb police are seeking to determine the reason for the crash.
