According to the State Patrol, a driver was injured in a car accident on Thornton Road at the entrance ramp for I-20. The vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle. Police investigated the accident and the driver of the other vehicle was fined for following too closely.

The driver is currently seeking medical treatment for the injuries that occurred during the accident.
