According to Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, a man repeatedly rammed his SUV into a police car. A deputy was dispatched to a home to respond to a civil disturbance, when the man got into his SUV, reversed, and struck the front of the deputy’s patrol car. Then, the man circled the patrol car and then hit the rear of the vehicle.

The man was charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and other charges after the incident. The officer was able the escape and suffered minor injuries.
